Congregational Care & Concern

Eastminster's Congregational Care and Concern Ministry has grown with the needs of our members. From pastors making  hospital visits to new parents as they welcome their babies, to volunteers who help care for shut-ins by preparing  and delivering meals...and the many ways to support and care in all of the stages in between, Eastminster's Congregational Care ministries are here for you.

Congregational Care and Concern is led by Rev. Lynn Grandsire. Thankfully these ministries are supported by many member groups who serve gladly. Some come to help with small flower arrangements on Mondays that are taken to help celebrate or comfort. Others knit prayer shawls that warm and console, or hats and scarves for our friends at Transitions. There are even groups of people who write notes to members who may be grieving or just celebrating a birthday. Call the church office if you would like to help, or to submit a Prayer Request for a member of the Eastminster Family.

We have Prayer Cards available the first Sunday of the month in our Welcome Center (Sanctuary - Traditional Service) and in the Sunshine Room (Jubilee - Contemporary Service) - Please pick one up and pray for the list in your quiet time during the week.
