Scripture: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.” – Romans 12:12

Often when I talk to my mom, she will read me something over the phone that she likes and thinks I might like too. She is never wrong about this. We talk about the state of the world and how “different” things have been since March of 2020. So I think she shares things with her children that will provide a different perspective and a little hope.

She has read this one in particular to me a few times now because we both love it. So the last time she read it, I asked if it was okay to share it here on her behalf. I’m not sure she said yes, but she did send me a picture. Anyway, I love this “formula” and hope you will too.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for moms, and for the treasures they keep on slips of paper in their favorite books.  Amen.
