Eastminster Presbyterian Church is seeking candidates for Executive Director of Finance and Administrative Services. Candidates must possess the leadership, knowledge, and experience required for the position and embrace and support Eastminster Presbyterian Church and its ministry. I. Primary Function
Provides strategic leadership and management of the day-to-day business, financial, and administrative affairs of the church including human resources, facilities management, technology, food services and other administrative functions.

II. Relationships
• Reports to the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff.
• Works collaboratively with all staff, including ordained staff, and church members.
• Support the Session, Diaconate, and Finance, Property, Safety, Endowment and Personnel Committees of the church.
• Works with the Presbyterian USA Board of Pensions and outside vendors, including employee benefits providers, property and casualty insurance carriers, and technology contractors.
• Networks with people having similar responsibilities in other churches and participates in The Church Network.

III. Primary Responsibilities
• Functions as the chief financial officer of the church. Supervises the accurate recording of pledges, accounts payable, preparation of financial reports and issuance of payments, counting of receipts, deposits, memorials, investments, transfers of stocks and bonds, oversight of financial statement, conduct of annual audits and other financial concerns of the church, including the Eastminster Day School (EDS).
• Develops, in concert with the senior pastor, session and diaconate, the overall church budget, including EDS.
• Oversees the employment, evaluation, and supervision of non-ministry employees.
• Administers human resources policies, including personnel policies, salary increases, and performance evaluations.
• Oversees technology contractors.
• Oversees the operation and maintenance of the properties of the church, including the memorial garden.
• Oversees the food services operations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor

V. Attributes, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and committed to serving Him through ministry.
• Demonstrates leadership and management skills with a diverse staff of finance and administrative services employees.
• Bachelor’s degree required with 10 years experience and progressive leadership in finance and administrative services preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Is highly organized and self-directed.
• Relates well to people in person and by phone.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and experience with budgets and financial statements.
• Demonstrates proficiency with applicable computer software and databases.
• Demonstrates logical reasoning ability in a variety of situations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and proficiency in Human Relations and personnel matters.
• Experience negotiating contracts, leases, or agreements, management experience, conflict resolution skills, and properly delegating.

The focus of the Eastminster Pastoral Residency Program is to cultivate effective leadership in congregational ministry, grounded in the Reformed tradition and committed to sound preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. The residency will also bring fresh insights and approaches to ministry to the congregation by virtue of having a recent seminary graduate serving in a pastoral role. Eastminster Day School, a ministry of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, is seeking a full time assistant teacher. This individual will be responsible for providing appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental opportunities for each child, in collaboration with lead teacher. This individual will work with young children anywhere from age 6-weeks to 10-years-old. The hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and starting pay is $13.50/hour. This individual will be responsible for providing appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental opportunities for each child, in collaboration with lead teacher. This individual will work with young children anywhere from age 6-weeks to 10-years-old. The hours are flexible, and starting pay is $13/hour. Eastminster Drop-In Nursery is seeking individuals to care for young children anywhere from age 12-weeks to 4-years-old. The hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 8:45am-12pm.
