Open Positions
With over 65 active high school youth participating in Eastminster’s youth program, the Associate Pastor of Senior High Youth and Their Families offers an exciting opportunity for an ordained, Spirit-filled, youth minister passionate about helping young people grow in their faith. The Associate Pastor for Youth and their families will be responsible for:
- Planning, recruiting, and equipping leaders for the weekly youth programs.
- Planning and organizing confirmation for ninth graders.
- Planning and participating in Senior High summer trips.
- Planning and participating in overnight weekend fellowship activities.
- Planning and organizing Youth Sunday.
- Serving as part of a multi-pastor team of seven ordained pastors. This team of pastors rotates hospital coverage, Day School Chapel
and attends meetings with staff and the senior pastor. - Occasionally participating in weekly worship including preaching and conducting weddings, baptisms, and funerals as requested.

The focus of the Eastminster Pastoral Residency Program is to cultivate effective leadership in congregational ministry, grounded in the Reformed tradition and committed to sound preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. The residency will also bring fresh insights and approaches to ministry to the congregation by virtue of having a recent seminary graduate serving in a pastoral role. To that end, residents will spend two years serving on Eastminster’s pastoral staff, involved in a cross section of ministry areas and responsibilities. Click here to read the full description.

Eastminster Day School, a ministry of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, is seeking a full time assistant teacher. This individual will be responsible for providing appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental opportunities for each child, in collaboration with lead teacher. This individual will work with young children anywhere from age 6-weeks to 10-years-old. The hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and starting pay is $13.50/hour. Eastminster Day School, a ministry of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, is seeking substitute teachers. This individual will be responsible for providing appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental opportunities for each child, in collaboration with lead teacher. This individual will work with young children anywhere from age 6-weeks to 10-years-old. The hours are flexible, and starting pay is $13/hour. Eastminster Drop-In Nursery is seeking individuals to care for young children anywhere from age 12-weeks to 4-years-old. The hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 8:45am-12pm.
