This August, Eastminster will welcome Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Hinson-Hasty, professor of Theology and Ethics at Union Presbytery Seminary in Charlotte, to our 2024 edition of Adult Vacation Bible School. She will be with us for worship on Sunday morning, August 18th, and will keynote dinner gatherings on Sunday and Monday evenings.
Her 2021 book, Dutiful Love, explores how our knowledge of God’s love for us through Christ informs how we love one another, with particular focus on families providing care for children and siblings suffering from serious mental illness.
